(optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Trim the Brussels sprouts and place them in a large bowl.
1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts
Drizzle with olive oil. I use 1 tablespoon when I am trying to eat light, but I use up to 2 tablespoon when I want them to be extra-yummy!
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
Add in the garlic, paprika, and salt. Include the pepper if you are using it.
1 tablespoon minced garlic,
½ teaspoon paprika,
¼ teaspoon salt,
¼ teaspoon pepper
Toss to coat, and place on a baking sheet.
Bake 20-25 minutes, stir once after 15 minutes.

Notes
Replace the salt with garlic salt if your family likes things extra-garlicky.
Don't crowd the sprouts on the baking sheet. They need to have some room around them to roast evenly.
Change things up by drizzling the sprouts with balsamic vinegar or lemon juice, or sprinkling with grated Parmesan after roasting.
Add in a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes prior to roasting to kick things up a notch!
Use smoked paprika instead of regular for a smoky, earthy flavor.
