Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, Parmesan cheese, and dill weed.
1 cup white whole wheat flour,
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder,
½ teaspoon salt,
¼ cup Parmesan cheese,
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter (about 20-30 seconds) and then combine with the milk.
2 tablespoons melted butter,
½ cup milk
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix into a dough.
Lightly spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray. Divide the dough into 6 dollops and drop in the basket
Sprinkle with a little additional parmesan cheese and/or dill weed (optional).
Air fry at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes.
Notes
When combining the wet and dry ingredients, use a gentle folding motion rather than stirring vigorously. Overmixing can lead to tough biscuits.
If you have a cookie scoop, that can help with keeping the portions equal size.
If desired, you can gently flatten the tops of the biscuits with the back of a spoon for a more uniform shape.
Once done, remove the biscuits from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
Brush the tops with melted butter for added flavor and shine, if desired.
