Pour about ½ of the batter into the prepared pan and use a spatula to even it out.
Distribute the Snickers bars over the brownie batter, pressing lightly into the batter.
250 g Snickers bars
Gently pour the rest of the batter into the pan, using the spatula to spread it out evenly to the edges and over the Snickers bars.
Bake about 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the brownies 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out clean (make sure to not insert the toothpick into a candy bar).
Notes
If you don't have an 11x8 pan, you can use a 13x9 (the brownies will be thinner) or a 9x9 (the brownies will be thicker). Be sure to adjust the baking time accordingly, about 23 minutes for the 13x9, and about 36 minutes for the 9x9.
You can try different candy bars-use your favorite!
Another way to vary this recipe is to use different varieties of brownie mix. I used Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix but there are other types.
