Notes
To make this with uncooked pizza dough, roll out your dough to about 16 inches in diameter. Follow the same steps as with the pizza shell, however adjust the baking temperature to 400 degrees and the baking time to 20 minutes.
Whipped cream cheese works well because it is soft and easy to scoop when placing dollops on the pizza. You can use regular cream cheese instead, but you may want to first let it sit out at room temperature to soften, or use the microwave to warm it a bit before putting it on the pizza.
If desired, you can enhance the flavor of the Alfredo sauce by adding minced garlic and/or pinch of dried Italian herbs (such as basil and oregano).Stir these into the sauce before spreading it on the pizza crust.
If you want to add more flavor and texture, consider adding sliced cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, or sliced mushrooms to the pizza before baking.
Once the pizza is out of the oven, let it cool slightly before slicing. You can garnish it with fresh chopped parsley, a drizzle of olive oil, or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
