Notes
Prep Tips:
Have your peanut butter eggs ready to use before melting the chocolate to make it easy to work quickly once the pretzels are out of the oven.
Use a silicone mat instead of parchment paper if desired.
Variation Suggestions:
Use white or pastel-colored candy melts for a festive springtime look, or use different colored sugars.
Replace peanut butter eggs with mini chocolate eggs or pastel M&M’s for a nut-free version.
Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers or shredded coconut instead of green sugar.
Drizzle with melted white chocolate for extra decoration.
Serving Suggestions:
Arrange on a decorative Easter platter for a fun holiday treat.
Package in small cellophane bags tied with ribbon for a cute Easter gift or party favor.
Use as a topping for vanilla ice cream or as a fun mix-in for trail mix.
Add to an Easter-themed dessert board with cookies, chocolates, and fruit.
Storage Info For Leftovers:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
Keep in the fridge if your home is warm to prevent the chocolate from becoming too soft.
Freeze for up to two months; let thaw at room temperature before serving.
