- If you like, brush the chops with a bit of olive oil before adding the spice rub.

Kristin’s Kitchen Tip
If you can, opt for pork chops of similar size and thickness. This will make it much easier to cook them evenly!
🥡 Storage and Reheating
Transfer leftovers to an airtight container and keep in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. You can also freeze air fried pork chops for a couple of months.
Reheat in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or in the air fryer for 5 to 7, flipping halfway through either way. From frozen, let the chops thaw in the fridge before reheating for best results.
⏳ Make Ahead Instructions
The spice mixture can be made ahead of time and kept in an airtight container or glass jar. That way you can quickly break it out and season pork chops (and more) in an instant!

- Rub the spice mixture on the tops of the pork chops.
- Flip them over and rub the spice mixture on the other side.
- Cook in the air fryer about 12-15 minutes, flipping after about 8 minutes, until done.
Notes
- To prepare ahead of time, mix the spice rub in advance and store it in an airtight container.
- Try to choose pork chops of similar thickness (about 1–1.5 inches) to ensure even cooking.
- Let the pork chops sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes before cooking for more even results.
- If preferred, you can swap the garlic salt for onion powder or dried herbs like rosemary or thyme, or use Cajun seasoning, lemon pepper, or a BBQ rub.
- If you prefer breaded pork chops, instead of using the spice mix, coat them lightly with flour, dip in beaten egg, and dredge in seasoned breadcrumbs and then cook.
- To reheat leftovers, preheat the air fryer or the oven to 325 degrees F. Cook in the air fryer 5-7 minutes or the oven 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. To reheat in the microwave, cover with a damp paper towel and cook in 30-60 second intervals (flipping between intervals) until hot enough.
