These Peanut Butter Easter Egg Pretzel Bites are adorable and so easy and fun to make! This is a great kitchen activity for the kids and these are perfect for an afternoon snack or a fun dessert after your Easter dinner!
Looking for a last minute treat for Easter? Or an activity to keep the kids busy for a bit while they are out of school on Easter break? These super-adorable bites are so easy to make, they are perfect to either throw together quickly, or take a more leisurely pace and have your kids do the assembly for a fun and delicious afternoon.
These are also really customizable, you can use any candy to press into the chocolate on top of the pretzels.
I used peanut butter egg-shaped M&M's because the combination of chocolate, peanut butter, and crunchy, salty pretzel is right up my alley.
I also used a few marshmallow chicks I found in the baking section at Wal-Mart, just to add a cute touch to the scene.
Another great edible craft for Easter is this Easter Peeps Pop Tart House. It uses Pop Tarts and a few other ingredients and is a really great way to keep the kids busy for the afternoon!

These are so cute, I took a zillion pictures. I couldn't stop shooting them. And I couldn't stop eating them, either!
Take a picture, pop a pretzel bite in my mouth, take another picture, pop another pretzel bite, and so on. It was a morning of fun and yum!
Luckily I had a bunch of extra pretzel bites, so I didn't have to dip into my carefully arranged display until I was all done with the photoshoot. 🙂

What a great idea! I have often made pretzel/ chocolate dessert bites like this but I love the idea of topping them with peanut butter eggs.

Love you trick to use the candy melt on the pretzel, then pop them in the oven. So much easier that what I expected. And how cute tho! My kids will LOVE this idea.

This is such a cute idea! And I love how easy they are so the kiddos can help with them. 🙂

Your pictures are beautiful! Thanks Kristin for this adorable and yummy treat. My children will enjoy making them for Easter dessert. I was thinking maybe we could use Rolllos in place of the chocolate candy melts, because I have easier access to them!
Kristin King
Definitely try it with the Rolos, just keep an eye on them because they might melt a little quicker than the candy melts. Either way, they will be yummy! Hope you guys like them! Have a blessed Easter!

I adore chocolate covered pretzels and you've made it even better by adding peanut butter.
