Oven Fried Crispy Green Beans
Ingredients
- ¾ cup breadcrumbs (recommend to use panko bread crumbs)
- 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (218 degrees C).

Panko doesn't stick. Beans need longer cooking time. Had to make many adjustments and found this technic and time not effective. Worth the process to learn, though.

I love love LOVE how you added the ingredients at the end of each step! With online recipes, and I'm using my phone while cooking, I constantly have to scroll back up to amounts in the ingredients list at top. This sadly did not work for me at all. I followed the steps completely. Can you help me figure out what went wrong? Should the green beans get a flour coating before the eggs and crumb mixture?

Oh, I am sorry to hear that! Did you serve them right away? If you let them sit on the baking sheet after you take them out of the oven they can lose their crispiness pretty quickly. You could transfer them to a wire rack to avoid that, but they still really are best eaten when right out of the oven. That said, a flour coating might also be a good thing to try if you are still having trouble.

I don't think canned green beans will work here. They tend to be kind of mushy. However if you think it might work, I would encourage you to give it a try!
