Baked Maple Glazed Salmon with Almonds
Ingredients
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 24 ounces salmon
- ¼ cup sliced almonds
- ¼ cup chopped green onion for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar, maple syrup, soy sauce, red pepper, and black pepper.¼ cup packed brown sugar, ¼ cup pure maple syrup, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Place the salmon portions on a baking sheet sprayed lightly with non-stick cooking spray.24 ounces salmon
- Drizzle about ½ of the glaze mixture over the portions, set aside the remaining glaze.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
