I was looking for a new way to serve pork chops. In the past I typically just sprinkled them with garlic salt and parsley flakes and broiled them. Maybe I would shake things up in the summertime and throw them on the grill. 🙂
The only thing easier than broiling is...crocking! So I whipped out my slow cooker and put together this recipe.

🥘 Ingredients Needed
- onion - white or yellow onion are both good options.
- pork chops - I like to use bone-in porkchops for this recipe.
- cream of mushroom soup - adds lots of flavor and creamy texture.
- fresh mushrooms - for some added nutrition and that distinct mushroom taste.
- black pepper

- Place your onion in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Layer the pork chops over top and sprinkle with pepper. It's okay if the pork chops overlap a bit.
- Add mushrooms.
- Spread the mushroom soup over top, then cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.

Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 21.5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup (2 cans)
- 16 ounces sliced fresh mushrooms
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- fresh dill for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chopped onion in the bottom of the slow cooker.2 cups chopped onion
