Prepare S'mores
Place several cookies on a plate upside down and top each with a piece of chocolate.

Add Marshmallows
Cut or slice your marshmallows in half and place them sticky side down on the chocolate.

Microwave
Microwave for 25 to 30 seconds, then top each marshmallow with another cookie and press down.
💡 Expert Tips and Tricks
- The marshmallow will expand a bit as you microwave them, so be sure to keep a close eye on the plate.
- Leave a little room between the cookies on the plate so the marshmallows don't stick together.
❔ FAQs
The name is a contraction of the words "some more," because these treats are so good you'll always be asking for seconds!
Hershey's milk chocolate is the tried and true s'mores chocolate, but feel free to try other chocolate bars for some variation.
Not quite, but it's close enough! Microwaving them does make them soft and gooey, but you won't get the same golden brown (or burnt!) char on the outside like you would over the campfire.

📝 Substitutions and Variations
- Use dark chocolate or white chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
- You could even use smaller pieces of candy bars like Snickers, Kit-Kats, Twix, or mini peanut butter cups!
- Flavored marshmallows are another way to add a fun twist.
- Instead of vanilla wafers, you can use classic graham crackers, or substitute chocolate cookies or peanut butter cookies!
Kristin’s Kitchen Tip
If you're making these in multiple batches, use some parchment paper to keep things neat and avoid extra cleanup!
🥡 Storage and Reheating
If you have leftovers, keep them in an airtight container at room temperature for a couple of days. I recommend eating them right out of the microwave though! You can briefly reheat them in the microwave (about 10 seconds) if you are enjoying leftovers.
