- chocolate chips - I like to use milk chocolate chips for a sweet chocolatey flavor, but feel free to use dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips instead.
- pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin spice extract - using both spice and extract infuses this fudge with lots of warm and familiar pumpkin spice flavor.
- sweetened condensed milk - helps the fudge take on a nice thick texture.

Prepare Pan
Line a pan with some aluminum foil or parchment paper, then grease with cooking spray.
Melt Chocolate
Combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk and microwave for 60 to 90 seconds until melted.
Add Pumpkin Spice
To the melted chocolate mixture, add the spice blend and pumpkin extract.
Transfer Fudge
Spoon the fudge into the prepared baking pan and distribute evenly.
Top and Set
Add toppings (if using) and place the fudge in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours to set.

Easy Pumpkin Spice Fudge

Microwave Pumpkin Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups milk chocolate morsels
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk (1 can)
- 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice extract
Instructions
- Prepare a 8x8 pan by lining it with aluminum foil and then spraying a light coat of cooking spray on the foil. Set aside.
- Place the chocolate morsels and sweetened condensed milk in a large microwave safe bowl. Heat on high for 60-90 seconds until mostly melted.3 ½ cups milk chocolate morsels, 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well combined.3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice extract
- Pour the mixture into the prepared 8x8 pan and place in the refrigerator, covered, for 3-4 hours to set.
- After the fudge has set, remove from the pan, peel away the foil, and cut into squares. Store leftover fudge in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
Notes
- You can substitute semi-sweet morsels for the milk chocolate.
- If you don't have or can't find pumpkin spice extract, you can substitute vanilla extract.
- If you're in a hurry, place the fudge in the freezer to speed up the setting time. It should be ready in about 1 hour instead of 3-4 hours in the fridge.
- Add ½ cup of chopped pecans or walnuts to the fudge for some crunch.
- Adjust the pumpkin pie spice to your preference. For even more pumpkin spice flavor, add an extra teaspoon or include a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- For a pretty presentation, drizzle white chocolate on top of the fudge and use a spatula to create a swirl pattern.
- Garnish the top of the fudge with pecans or roasted pumpkin seeds, or even a little sea salt
- Cut the fudge into small squares, wrap them in wax paper, and package them in decorative tins or gift boxes for the holidays.

I have not tried it with baking chocolate, but I am thinking it might not turn out that great. I actually have not used baking chocolate a lot so I am not that familiar with how it melts or how it tastes. However, if you are feeling adventurous and try it anyway, let me know how it turns out!

Hi Kristen, thanks for the recipe. Sounded delicious. Had to try it. I made some this afternoon and have been tasting it along the way. Very good but the Chocolate seems to be over powering the Pumpkin. I am wondering if u have tried this with White chocolate. Or did I misunderstand the directions? It has been setting for about an hour or so and hoping it solidifies in the next couple of hours......Have company coming tomorrow, and ready to sing your praises. If it doesn't set, I guess I could serve it over Ice cream, lol, It is very rich and tasty. Thanks

The first couple of times I had trouble getting it to set as well. I am not sure why. But then the last couple of times it has been fine. I will try to look into that and let you know if I figure it out. The good news is at least it is tasty even if it is a bit mooshy. Thanks for stopping by!
