Simple Turkey Burger Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- 6-8 slider buns (leave them attached to each other)
- 4 cheese slices (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut the onion into chunks and use a food processor or cheese grater to produce about ⅓ cup grated onion.1 onion
- In a large bowl, combine the grated onion with the ground turkey, Italian seasoning, pepper, and garlic salt.1 pound ground turkey, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, ½ teaspoon pepper, ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- Spray a baking dish with cooking spray, and press the turkey mixture into the baking dish into a rectangle shape that is slightly longer and wider than one layer of the slider buns.
- Bake about 15-20 minutes, until the turkey is done (juices run clear).
- Leaving the slider buns attached to each other if possible, place the bottoms of the buns on a baking sheet. Place the cooked turkey rectangle on top of the buns and then distribute the cheese slices over the top (if you are using them).6-8 slider buns, 4 cheese slices
