Even though summer is winding down, there is still plenty of time to have a few more cookouts! However, by this point in the summer, we are getting a little burgered out, so to speak. So I like to find ways to spice up our burgers a bit! This spread is one of our favorites.

When it comes to burgers, most of the time I opt for creating something to add after cooking, as opposed to working it into the burger itself, so that people can personalize their burgers based on what they like.

If you have been following along, you know that my younger son is kind of a picky eater, and spicy things are out of the question for him. So, when it comes to this spread, hubby and I use generous amounts, my older son uses a bit, my younger son skips it altogether, and we are all happy!

By the way, this spread would be good on lots of different sandwiches, not just burgers!

So, make a double batch and keep the leftover in the fridge to use on all your sandwiches. (Except maybe peanut butter and jelly. It would be yucky on peanut butter and jelly!)
