Buttery, sweet, and salty, these melt-in-your-mouth Sesame Pretzel Cookie Bites are super-easy to make and totally delicious!
It is cookie season! Today I have a very simple cookie recipe for you! I love this recipe because it’s so fast and easy to make, yet the result is elegant and unique and tastes amazing. These cookies also freeze well and travel well.
I am making multiple batches for the holidays this year, but the yumminess won’t end once we hit January 2nd! I plan to also make them during the rest of the year, particularly when I am in need of items for bake sales, parties, or a treat to lure Thing 1 home from college. (Yes, I am not above bribing him with food.)
These cookies use a creamy sesame spread called Simply Sesame. I love this product! It has no preservatives or additives, it’s non-GMO, and gluten-free. The texture is kind of like peanut butter, but no peanuts!
And there are different delicious flavors; I had the pleasure of trying the Pure Roasted Sesame, the Vanilla with Almond Bits, and the Pistachio Morsels & Hint of Cardamom. They were all great!
Simply Sesame products can be found at SimplySesame.com, or you can order from Amazon. You can also follow Simply Sesame on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
I love the versatility of this spread! There are so many great ways to enjoy it, like using it as a fruit dip, spreading it on a toasted bagel, using it in baked goods, mixing it up with some oatmeal or yogurt…I could go on and on!
It was tough to decide what direction to take for my recipe, but in the end I decided to go for a delicious dessert item for the holidays. I wanted something that was elegant, simple, and forgiving (meaning I can throw it together without being too fussy about measuring).
This recipe meets all that criteria, plus it has only a few ingredients, takes very little time to prepare, and it is totally delicious.
I have already made three batches and I will probably make one or two more in the next couple of weeks for holiday parties!

Hi, is the Simply Sesame Spread the same thing as tahini? I can’t get the Simply Sesame Spread but have tahini in my fridge and would like to try these 🙂 Cheers
Kristin
Hi Alli, Simply Sesame is not quite the same as tahini. You can check out the ingredients for Simply Sesame here: http://www.simplysesame.com/products.html. It looks like Simply Sesame is probably sweeter, so if you want to try these cookies with the tahini, they may not turn out quite as sweet, but I bet they will still be good!
