Hi Christen! No, you don’t need to refrigerate the bundt cake because of the glaze. The ingredients in the glaze are generally shelf-stable when combined. The small amount of milk is stabilized by the high sugar content, which acts as a preservative. I'm looking for chocolate icing that "sets" somewhat to use on top of some homemade poptarts. Would this icing be suitable? I think you could make it set harder by adding more powdered sugar, but I have to confess that baking is not my strongest area, so I'm not sure about that. You might want to do an internet search for 'hard-set glaze' to find a recipe that might be more suitable. Sorry that this recipe doesn't seem to be what you want!
